Privacy Policy

When you place or prepare an order, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, pickup preference, requested pickup time, order details, payment status, and messages or notes you choose to send.

If you contact Santos through Instagram or Facebook Messenger, we may also receive the platform account identifier, display name, username, message content, delivery events, and referral details Meta supplies for that conversation.

We use this information to answer menu questions, create and price your cart, arrange pickup, process payment, confirm and fulfill orders, provide customer support, prevent abuse, troubleshoot service failures, and understand ordering conversion. The virtual assistant cannot collect card information in chat or confirm an order until payment is verified by Stripe.

Information is processed only as needed by service providers that support the ordering system, including Meta for messaging, Stripe for payments, Supabase for application data, OpenAI for virtual-assistant responses, Resend for email, and Twilio when SMS notifications are enabled. These providers handle data under their own terms and privacy commitments.

Verified webhook event records are normally retained for 30 days. Messages in closed social conversations are normally retained for 180 days. Paid order and transaction records may be kept longer for operations, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.

Access is limited by account authorization and tenant controls. Public order links use expiring or secret-derived access tokens. Meta access tokens are stored with authenticated encryption, and payment card details are handled by Stripe.

You may stop messaging at any time, use the website instead of the virtual assistant, or request access to or deletion of eligible personal information. See the Data Deletion page for the request process. Some order and payment records may need to be retained where required for legitimate business or legal purposes.
